Sixth Sense Film Review
The Sixth Sense movie was a very good plot twisting horror movie directed by M. Night Shyamalan. This film was very interesting and kept you to the end of your seat during the whole movie. It was about a young kid named Cole who could see ghosts and could communicate with them. He did what they asked him to do. Dr. Malcom is a child psychologist who tried to help Cole. But he was a ghost the whole time. Bruce got shot by one of his patience around a year before trying helping Cole.
The main theme was Cole getting over his fear of ghosts. They were not going to harm him but Cole helped there message get out that they wanted. The film was really successful at getting the message out because M. Night Shyamalan made it seem something else then what we thought. This is because we had no clue that Dr. Malcom was a ghost during the whole time he was helping Cole. I thought Dr. Malcom got shot originally and lived but I was wrong so the directer did a great job. The film shot after Dr. Malcolm got shot, M. Night Shyamalan made it seemed like he survived the accident. When Cole and Dr. Malcom were at at house after the girl passed away due to her mother killing her, The shot of the face reaction of the dad was filmed pretty good. It showed his emotion and how devastated he felt. The last scene when Dr. Malcom found out that he was a ghost this whole time was a great plot twist. With the music and his acting, M. Night Shyamalan did a fantastic job.
This movie did meet my expectations because how great the shots and scenes were filmed. I definitely would suggest this movie to anyone. I would suggest this because of how good the story is and how you are always on the edge of your seat. The theme of this film is to not be afraid of ghosts and face your fears.
