In this documentary, I decided to interview Joel Basco, the owner and cake baker at J&D Cakes, located in Boca Raton, Florida. In my script I asked around 9 questions about his cake baking background, his exciting moments, how he started his business, etc. I do not have a story board because I did not know what his bake shop would look like going in for the first time to film. It took me around a week to decide what to do a documentary on and Joe was the perfect person because he makes the cakes for most of my family occasions like our birthdays. For my 17th birthday which had just occurred recently, he had made me a yeezy cake. Joel added an immense amount of detail throughout the entire cake, to make the shoe look realistic. In 2015, Joel had won Cake Wars during its third season. A large majority of my camera shots were a lot of moving side to side because I wanted to get as much detail as I could of the cakes that Joel had displayed for me. I interviewed him with a good medium shot too. Also I definitely think this documentary will engaged the viewers because its about cake and everyone loves cakes. The only thing I would have liked to have added to this film would have been him actually making a cake. Joel was not working on a cake at the moment when i went to his bake shop to film. I did have fun editing and really getting to hear his story, some of his background, etc. I 100 percent would do another documentary on Joel in the future or just another one in general.

- What do you do?
- How did you get into the cake baking business?
- How long have you been making and designing cakes?
- What was it like when you won Cake Wars?
- How did you learn how to decorate and design cakes so well?
- How many times have you been on TV?
- What is your favorite cake that you have baked and designed?
- Where do you get your ideas and inspiration to make a fantastic cake?
